What should I do if my upper back and unexplained chest pain?
For a week I had a horrible pain in my chest every time you drink. During 3 days, the pain was behind me. So now I have both the upper back and chest pain Every time I swallow. I went to my doctor 3 times and the emergency room once, but have no solution. I tried Motrin, Mylanta, Advil, and ibuprofen. However, the drug works. Is there something I can do to prove or relieve this pain? I could not eat drink or something as simple as water without pain.
Have you been vomiting? Did you just choke on something? Stop Advil / Ibuprofen (even) and take Mylanta at least 4 times a day (after meals and at bedtime). Eat 6 small meals a day instead of 3 large and always try to have something in the stomach. Roughages May be easier to swallow (milk shakes, desserts, etc..) Stay away from fatty, spicy foods and fatty foods. Get a referral to a gastrointestinal () specialist.
