I was diagnosed with costochondritis at first, but then realized that chronic pain is myofascial (which is very similar to fibromyalgia). You've probably trigger points (a trigger is a ball into the muscle). Trigger points are more likely in the sternum, pectoral or intercostal muscles – but can be extended (eg, serrated earlier).
